Team UBA conducted an informative and interactive session regarding FPO with the farmers of Puranpur in collaboration with BhuAmrit FPO at Ambedkar hall. The team was successful in drawing farmers’ attention towards the benefits of joining FPOs as a group of approx. 20 farmers attended the session which consisted of perks, responsibilities and liabilities as an FPO member and concluded by an interactive session between the farmers and the existing members of FPOs.
As a result of the efforts, the farmers asked for more guidance and time to ponder over the topic.
