The Orientation Workshop for the UBA Nodal Officers/Coordinators of the Participating Institutions (PIs) of the state of Haryana was organized at NIT Kurukshetra on 24.12.2019 to create awareness about various activities under the scope of UBA. The workshop was attended by 20 participants including Prof. Vivek Kumar (Co-PI, UBA, IIT Delhi) and Ms. Bharti Jasrotia (NCI-UBA, IIT Delhi). The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Rajender Kumar (Dean, Students’ Welfare, NIT Kurukshetra) with welcome and opening remarks by Prof. Sathans (RCI Coordinator).
Subsequently, Prof. Vivek Kumar delivered the keynote talk through a presentation about UBA, Framework of Plan of Action, and Funding and Convergence Possibilities. This was followed by a presentation by Ms. Bharti Jasrotia, NCI, IIT Delhi, about Demonstration of Web Portal and SEG Proposal Submission. Both the presentations involved a lot of interactions and were appreciated by the participants. During interactions, the doubts / issues on various aspects of UBA were discussed and clarified.
