WORLD FOOD DAY CELEBRATION
Upholding the initiative of Food and Agriculture Organisation, UBA SGGSCC organised a drive on the on 16th October at Bhagwati Public School Haiderpur Village on the occasion of World Food Day. The event started off by a introduction by our vice president, who educated the students about world food day and the working of the society. After that we went on with a introduction of the students. Following this the team started a training session on how to wash hands properly, and the benfits of washing hands properly. In addition to this we also conducted educational sessions for students focusing on the importance of healthy food choices. We shared valuable information and practical tips to help them make nutritious choices and maintain good hygiene practices. There was a high level of engagement from the students. It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm and willingness to adopt healthier lifestyles. We also collected an impressive amount of food and distributed to the students. For the fun element we did some exercise with the students which helped in both making the session more interactive and fun. The students were given frooti ,sandwiches and bananas at the end of the session. Also the students were given hand sanitizers and were taught how to use it.
Overall our societies food donation drive and educational session were a great success, raising awareness and making a positive impact on the students. We are proud of the impact we made and look forward to continuing our efforts in the future.
