During a Gram Sabha meeting, villagers come together to discuss matters like allocation of funds, implementation of development projects, addressing local concerns, and planning for the overall development of the village. The Gram Sabha meeting serves as a platform to address these issues collectively and work towards the betterment of the community. The meeting provides an opportunity for direct participation and engagement of the villagers in the decision-making process. These meetings play a crucial role in promoting transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in rural governance among village people.
Village people were gathered and the agenda of the Gram Sabha was given by the President of the village. All the village people were equally participated in the meeting and gave their opinion and concerns. They have been discussed about the issues and the needs of the village people and also they provide clear and accurate information about the issues to be resolved with available resources. After the open discussions and viewpoints of the village people some of the decision was taken by the democratic process. All the documentation of the meeting were maintained and recorded and those records will be kept for the future reference. Students got aware of the Gram Sabha Meeting and also their learned about the functions and responsibilities of the Gram Sabha.
