The main objective of this event was to create awareness about seed nurturing and afforestation. A "seed nurturing event" refers to a specific gathering or occasion dedicated to the cultivation and development of seeds, often in the context of agriculture or environmental conservation. These events aim to promote sustainable farming practices, biodiversity preservation, and environmental awareness.

A "Seed Nurturing Event" organized by students is a gathering focused on educating participants about the process of nurturing and cultivating plant seeds. Typically held in schools or community settings, these events aim to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation. Participants, often including students and community members, learn how to plant seeds, provide proper care, and promote healthy growth. These events promote hands-on learning, instill environmental consciousness, and encourage individuals to take an active role in fostering a greener future. They also serve as a platform to discuss the significance of agriculture and nature conservation. For this, first-year MBA students, second-year MBA coordinators, Research Scholars, and Faculty members of the Faculty of Management, SRMIST together nurtured 35000 seeds which will be nurtured for 3 months and distributed in nearby surrounding areas to increase the number of trees and support afforestation.
