The Center for Civic Engagement and Action (CCEA) from Marwadi University orchestrated a successful visit to Kagdadi Village, featuring a dedicated team of 40 students and faculty members. In line with the commitment to environmental conservation, the team embarked on a tree plantation drive within the village.
A total of 100 trees were strategically planted in designated areas, showcasing a variety of native species carefully selected to ensure adaptability to the local ecosystem. This initiative not only aimed at enhancing the village's green cover but also sought to elevate awareness regarding the critical role of trees in mitigating climate change and fostering biodiversity.
The collaborative effort between Marwadi University's CCEA and Kagdadi Village exemplifies the power of community engagement in promoting sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.
