HOUSEHOLD BASELINE SURVEYS:
Volunteers were divided in to three groups for the household survey at 09.00 AM. Further based on the PDOs suggestion, these three groups are subdivided in to different small groups based on ward location.
The Volunteers groups started interviewing households in different groups in different places of the village. The response of the households was good and supportive. However, as the distance between the houses where little lengthy student took average of 15 minutes to complete one household survey while the target was 10 minutes.
At the end of the day, 210 households of Lonwadi village, 237 of Pimpalkhuta, 328 of Malegaon Gond, 290 of Wadali and 310 households of Rasulpur village were interviewed. Students enjoyed the survey job and that was a great learning from planning, logistics, interview management perspective. Prof. Shantaram Bhoye, UBA Co-ordinator, Prof. Sunanda Dekate, NSS Women Program Officer were present during the survey activity.
